Get To Know Mill Bill

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mill Bill.

Hi Mill, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.

I started out as a teenager freestyling at parties trying to entertain everyone. It’s evolved over time to be a full-blown business that has not only helped my family but has also helped the community. My brand “Wild Nation” has done as much as given 84 brand new hoodies to homeless shelters and places of refuge for women and child coming from abusive situations. I’ve successfully built a community of people who support each other through common interests in music and other things in life from overcoming depression and dealing with death of loved ones. I come from a broken home and try to be as transparent with my fans as possible so that they can see that vulnerability helps others in ways we sometimes don’t even see. The music is just a way to channel my thoughts and experiences so that I may share them creatively.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?

Absolutely not!!! Let see from getting used to sell tickets to perform at terrible times and being treated like a workhorse not getting paid for input and hustle for others has been major. Investments that didn’t pay off, business that went sour to dealing with shady people it’s been a roller coaster of drama and problems. There we’re mistakes that I’ve made that’s created major setbacks in my own growth not only as an artist but as a person. There’s been smooth times but nothing’s been easy.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?

I make music and have for about 15 years now. My best song and video thus far is “Crazy” Featuring Mark Battles which has grossed over 400,000 views over 3 platforms in a few years. The song has a deep message and really express how I feel about life and my music. I’ve performed in front of 15,000 people at Pig Out in The Park in Spokane thanks to a friend named Cordell Drake. With my music, I’ve created a merchandise and promotion company called “Wild Nation” which has been supported and profitable over the past 8 years. I think creating all this from scratch and hard work is what I’m most proud of. I think what sets me apart from others is my way to connect with other people and bring everyone together.

Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?

Never stop chasing your dream and take yourself seriously. Invest in quality work and invest into yourself first. I wish I wouldn’t have thrown so much money into things that weren’t bringing more income.
