1.) What is your real name & stage name?
My real name is Irene Anderson and I go by It’s Irene on all my social media
platforms with my slogan “it’s me for me”. 2.) Where are you from?
I am from Hartford, CT raised with a Caribbean background.
3.) What do you do?
I do a number of things such as tiktok and Instagram skits but my main focus is my YouTube channel. 4.) How long have you been in your industry?
I haven’t been in the social media scene for too long it has been about nine months.
5.) What is your biggest accomplishment?
My biggest accomplishment is opening up my own business Yoni Essentials in my hometown of Hartford, CT where I cater to women's health and wellness.
6.) How has COVID affected you on your journey?
Covid has affected my journey by inhibiting some collaboration I had lined up and also pushing back my business opening date. I caught Covid and was out of work for a month. However, I did not allow it to stop me. 7.) What's your next move ?
My next move is to continue to push out content on all social media platforms building my Its Irene brand.
8.) Are you working on any projects ?
My current project that is in the works is launching my product line that will allow everyone to have a Yoni Essential
experience even from home.
9.) Where do you see yourself in 1 year ?
In the next year I see myself accomplishing my social media goal and having a successful business. I also see myself doing more collaborations with people who I share the same goal with.
10.) Is there anything else you want people to know about you?
Something I want people to know about me is that despite the challenges life has thrown at me, I continue to strive and go for my dreams even harder. Social media has became a peaceful outlet for me. Knowing I’m making at least one person smile a day gives me my reason to smile. Life is what you make it and mines is made cheering up others.
