Interview with Kendall Williams

Interview with Kendall Williams

What is your real name & stage name?

Kendall Williams.

Where are you from?

Virginia Beach VA

What do you do?

Christian rap artist.

How long have you been in your industry?

Professionally I‘ve been in the music industry since 2012. When I first started my rap name was Fast Money. That year I released some of my biggest songs featuring artists such as Juicy J, Project Pat, Riff Raff and more. My music received an enormous amount of love from fans and supporters and gave me worldwide exposure on many major outlets

such as Worldstar

I first started doing music when I was 10 years old. My father formed a group with me and two of my brothers. Weekly we would go to nursing homes in our area to perform for the elderly. I was also forced to be in our church choir and attend weekly rehearsals. Music has always been a big part of my life. This is where my raw skill, passion and talent for music comes from.

What is your biggest accomplishment?

When I think about my life and all that I’ve accomplished I’m so grateful for all that I’ve achieved. I own several businesses, worked and with a lot of great artist and producers. To me none of these accomplishments can compare to the moment that I rededicated my life to God and accepting Jesus into my heart. This was in 2013 when I was locked up in jail charged with several felony charges and facing 8 years in the penitentiary. That’s when my whole life changed. It was a big win for me and I’ve been so blessed ever since!

How has COVID affected you on your journey?

COVID affected my in many different ways. It pushed me to really get closer to God because I realized that tomorrow isn’t promised and only God can save me and help me when I’m faced with many difficult challenges in this world such as covid. The pandemic had some negative results as well as positive. It opened up so many doors of opportunity for me being a Christian rap artist. It has been a scary time for most people and it gave me an opportunity to share my faith about God with people that were in fear, feeling lost and hopeless. Before the pandemic I feel that some of these people weren’t interested in heart about God, Christian rap or having a conversation about faith. I feel that covid opened a lot of people up to the idea of Christian rap. My music gave alot of people hope and encouragement during the darkest times that this world has ever faced. Covid also strengthen my relationship with God, help me focus on what’s most important which is family, helping people and spreading the gospel through my music.

Are you working on any projects?

Currently I’m working on big a new song produced by Zaytoven.

What is your next Move?

My next move is to put out a new EP with Grammy award winning producer Zaytoven.

Where do you see yourself in 1 year?

I plan on working with the Jackson family helping them produce a new hit album for the king Michael Jackson geared to this new generation. I have a great passion for the youth and I see myself opening youth centers worldwide teaching them about faith and life economic principles to change a generation.

I also see myself with a series of hits on the top of the charts touring worldwide and positively impacting millions of lives through my music. I plan on also acting on Tv commercials, shows, and movies and becoming a house hold name like Will Smith.

Is there anything else you want people to know about you?

So many years of my life I chased after money fortune and fame and realized and this doesn’t mean anything and life can end at any moment. One day we will all be gone and this world that we live in we’re all just passing through. Chasing after material things is like chasing the wind. Where we go when we die is where we will spend an eternity. No one in this world is perfect and if you want have a relationship with God He already knows that we are all going to constantly make mistakes. I don’t care if you smoke weed, drink everyday, have sex with every women or man you see, hurt or even killed someone. God doesn’t doesn’t care about any of this and still wants to bless you and have a relationship with you! If you die tomorrow and you want to make sure that you will spend eternity in heaven with God all you have to do is believe that Jesus is the son of God and he died on the cross for all of our sins and mistakes then you‘ll be saved. God loves us all no matter what we have done. If you want this free gift of eternal life in heaven with God all you have to do is repeat this short prayer “Lord Jesus, forgive me for my sins. Come into my heart. I want you to be the Lord and savior of my life!” If you said this short prayer I believe that you have been born again. God bless you and enjoy your new life! The best is yet to come! God bless
