Where are you from?
I am from The Bronx BX or whateva, but I was raised in New Jersey ‘ju heard’. My family is from St Martin, which is a beautiful destination by the way & everyone should visit! I am fluent in Spanish, and I am also learning French & Creole. I might learn Mandarin too just to see if I can challenge my self.
What do you do?
I am a Jill of all trades so I do a lot, from roller-skating to real estate. I graduated in 2013 I have a Bachelors degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology (Kean University). I also have my Family Development Credential (Rutgers)
Event Coordination Certificate (Middlesex County College) I also managed to obtain a Real estate investor Certification. (NJCU)
How long have you been in your industry?
I started my corporate journey in New York in the Financial District as a Client Liaison for a very reputable global financial solutions company. I took all of the experience that I’ve learned working within that industry and high level clients such as Merrill Lynch, JP Morgan & Morgan Stanley just to name a few. I’ve utilized my combined experiences and used it to my advantage to start something of my own.
What is your biggest accomplishment?
This year I started my first LLC and its called – “Lets Get Toasted”- because we all have moments where we need to enjoy those little victories, and with our fully operational hospitality department we can assist you with bringing that vision to light.
We definitely take hospitality to the next level and the 4.8 Star * reviews speak for themselves.
Lets Get Toasted LLC introduced its first Air BNB in Elizabeth New Jersey as of December 2020 and we are currently in developments, collaboratively working to expand to other states as well as world wide.
What's your next move ?
I also have a ton of hobbies that I am exceptionally well at. Please check out my IG where you can find me skating on a boardwalk near you!
I’m really excited for the future and what it holds, because to spark change you must go out of your comfort zone to reach all of your wildest dreams. Everyone is capable of manifesting and creating the best version of themselves.
Are you working on any projects ?
My future projects list is growing, but currently I’m shedding light on the racism in my community of Elizabeth NJ. This one really hits home for me as I have experienced over the course of this year alone, so many examples of OVERT racism. Its unfortunate but I have to stand up for myself and handle things with the policy makers to evoke a change, because if nothing is said, nothing will change.
Where do you see yourself in 1 year ?
In one year I’d love to see all my goals come to fruition. But to be completely honest Covid kind of pushed me into grind mode simply because I did not receive my unemployment yet. (That’s another story for another time) lol
Is there anything else you want people to know about you?
On a lighter note, I want to thank Aaron for the opportunity to actually be on this platform to share a brief glance into what I have going on at the moment, and for what’s to come.
