Interview with Rudy Mage
What is your real name & stage name? i go by Rudy Mage. when i stared doing graffiti my tag was MAGE so it just stuck with me Where are you from? i was born in Lima Peru. i currently live in Miami Florida, have lived here since i was 9 years old. i graduated to High school in santiago chile then i came back to purse a degree in computer animation. What do you do? i own a printing company called Inked Pro located in miami. I’m also and artist. we are currently expanding the business into our Rated Art department which will be a boutique/ gallery and event space our services include screenprinting, embroidery, sublimation, web design and art. How long have you been in your industry? i have been in the clothing and art industry for 25 years, started this back before social media. been working hard ever since What is your biggest accomplishment? My biggest accomplishments was taking inked pro from out of trunk of my car to a 4000 sq foot facility. How has COVID affected you on your journey? We took advantage of Covid. Inked Pro started printing mask when the “PLANdemic” started and we made a killing What's your next move ? our next move is expanding the Rated art Brand by opening up our new boutique located at 2027 nw 22nd court in miami. this will also serve as a event space and art gallery
Are you working on any projects ? Aside from the expansion which is currently in progress we are planning a grand opening event for Art Basel 2021 Where do you see yourself in 1 year ? in a year from now i see myself continuing to grow and expand the Inked Pro & Rated ART brand. https://instagram.com/rudy_mage
