I’m North African and I’m born in California raised in New York
2. What is your artist name? What is your real name? How did you get your artist name?
Waldo & My name is Walid Tarek, I got my name from my childhood nickname 3. At what point in your life did you decide to pursue a career in music?
I decided to persue it in 2016 and I’m taking it more seriously in 2021 4. Has your upbringing played a role in shaping who you are and defining your sound today? If so, how?
It definitely has shaped me into who I am because as I’m going I’m learning more on improving my craft and how I can better it every song I make. 5. How would you describe your sound to readers who may not be familiar with you? my sound is unique because I take very versatile beats and go crazy and get lyrical 6. What ultimately inspired you to dedicate yourself to a music career? What inspired me is the fact that making music calms me when I’m in the booth and I can put my life in a song where people can relate 7. What’s one reason you are passionate about music and what inspires you? I’m passionate because when people hear my sound and tell me they can relate I feel like I did something right
8. Do you have any hobbies outside of music? What do you do to stay creative? I’m also a comedian and entertainer and what makes me stay creative is mixing all these things I do which got me to where I am today with huge platforms and millions of views 9. 10. What are some of your career goals for the future? My goal is to blow up in the music scene like I did for my other platforms and go far up until the whole world knows me
11. Tell us about the project that you are promoting. What is it about? Is it a single or EP? Also, what is the name of the last project you released? I’m promoting my single called needat now out on all platforms & I haven’t released any projects but I am in the making 12. What has the response been like to that project? I been getting a lot of hit ups to push out a whole project 13. What are some projects you’ve done in the past that you are most proud of and why? I’ve done a lot of collaborations with celebrities and I’m meeting more as I go to work with so I’m excited to see how I can mix my music with them and other outside projects 14. What’s next for you? Are you working on any upcoming projects we should be on the lookout for? Include some dates if you have them. I’ll be releasing music with some celebrities we all love and support and be sure to keep up to see what we have in store 15. What message do you hope fans take away from your music? I want the people to know 2021 you will hear my name more and not just for music but everything else and keep working on your craft everyday because consistency is the only way you will ever win it can’t happen overnight.
