Jay The Renegade
Jacob Meriwether, better known as Jay The Renegade is a talented christian hip hop artist from Lafayette, Louisiana. Jay The Renegade does more than make music. He knows how to mix, rao, produce, and more. He has been focused on music for the past nine years. Music has always been a passion of his since a youth. One of his biggest accomplishments is being posted in “Artists To Watch Out For In 2022’ article and reaching over one hundred and three thousand streams on an album he made before he got saved. Right now JTR is in the studio and finishing his new project. He will be dropping a new music project soon. The tape is going to be remixes of one of Jay's favorite artist; J Cole’s songs. This year Jay plans to make more progress in the music industry for his career in every aspect. He is focusing on marketing, getting his music heard more internationally, and now that COVID restrictions have been lifted; more shows. On March 15th, 2020 Jay got saved by god. Before that he was homeless at one point, on drugs, no money, no phone, and sleeping on a friend's broken couch. He almost ended up in prison but was able to turn everything around thanks to god. Jay The Renegade is a walking testimony of being able to change your life if you accept God into your life. This year is sure to be big for Jay The Renegade if he stays focused.
