Micah Sage is a singer writer, performer, and a producer from Alberta, Canada. She has been taking music more serious for two years but has always had a passion for music since she was younger. A big accomplishment for Micah was writing songs in her bedroom and eventually performing them for an audience of people with a live band. Micah Sage is very talented.


Interview With Micah Sage:


What is your real name & stage name?

My real name and my stage name is Micah Sage, I was lucky to have been given a stage name! :) Where are you from? I was born and raised in Alberta, Canada. What do you do? I am a singer, a writer, a performer and a producer! I play a variety of instruments and I create all my own music! How long have you been in your industry?

This is my second year pursuing music professionally, but, like most musicians say, I have been one my whole life, as long as I can remember. What is your biggest accomplishment?

I have accomplished a lot over 2022, but one of my favourite accomplishments was playing my original music with a band. Hearing my songs that I wrote in my bedroom come to life with different instrumentalists was really rewarding for me. I am really excited for more songs to come out! How has COVID affected you on your journey?


I believe that COVID really gave me a lot of time to reflect. It was a giant opportunity for growth and writing and development for myself as a human and as an artist. I took the time to think about myself and my world, who I wanted to be and become and that was super beneficial for me, and initially my writing and my art. What's your next move?I like to say my next move is onward. I am taking steps toward my goals and my future everyday, and it's exciting to see how my music develops and how my sound develops too. Are you working on any projects?

I am always writing and recording in my studio, but my next project is very self-focused and I have a strong feeling there will be a Micah Sage EP in 2023. Where do you see yourself in one year? In one years time I see myself doing everything I am doing now, but amplified. More shows, more songs, more writing and recording, more musical connection, and more musical experience. I feel really good about where I am and where I'm going.
