Frenchbabii, is a French American Female rapper and songwriter. She was Born and raised in the South of France, a town named Toulon but resides in New York City.
She was a dancer growing up,and music has always been in her blood. Her dad was a saxophonist and she has a couple of uncles who are musicians. One of her uncles is known overseas for his musical talents. Frenchbabii has an older brother who always listened to influential artists such as Biggie, Busta Rhymes, Tupac, Lil Kim, Queen Latifah, Nas, Foxy Brown, MC Lyte, Fugees, and more. When she first was introduced to Missy Elliot she became a big fan and supporter. French is inspired by her creativity. Having access to this music growing up made her very talented and versatile. French and her cousins would pretend to be a part of groups rapping in English not knowing what they were saying at the time. The energy drew them to the music. When Frenchbabii moved to the states she was introduced to Remy Ma, Nicki Minaj and more.
Frenchbabii makes music that makes people dance, and is positive. Frenchbabii is a student of the game and has expressed that she is thankful for the female artist that came before her and paved the way. When French here's a beat she analyzes and tries to get the feel and vibe by hearing the rhythm. French raps in English and French and this is very impressive. Sometimes she seemingly effortlessly moves between the two languages with ease. One day French would like to collaborate with some of the great artists who paved the way for her like Missy Elliot.
Aside from making music, French is a model and has a podcast called “Take No Type Shxt”. She is also part of a web series called Kings & Pawns directed by Raja Biz. She has done many showcases and performed coast to coast. She has performed for DJ Sussone, Yo-yo the rapper, Benzino and more. Drewski played one of her tracks on the MVMT.
